Humanoid Robotics

Human-shaped robots that walk, balance and use their whole body to act.

Humanoid robotics builds robots with a human-like body: two legs, two arms, a torso and a head, able to work in spaces built for people.

A humanoid must balance on two legs while its arms and body interact with objects, so locomotion, manipulation and whole-body control are coupled.

Humanoids promise to use human tools and spaces without redesigning them. Recent learned controllers and humanoid foundation models have made progress faster.
